Middle mouse scroll in / out problem

PostThu Jan 22, 2015 12:27 pm

I'm new to fusion and have always used after effects. My question is when I'm trying to navigate the viewer and zoom closer in/out of a shot or in 3d, it tends to jump zoom in instead of a nice panning motion. I can do it in the node area fine but just not in the view. I'm not sure if it's due to my settings? Anyone else got this problem? I dont want to use the + and - keys every time I want to zoom in and out of a shot.

I'm using a wacom tablet and holding down control shift middle mouse to scroll. On my mouse I can zoom in/out by scrolling the middle mouse but not pressing the middle mouse button.

Thanks

Hi Haley.

To pan, just the MMB should be fine.
To smoothly zoom in/out hold LMB and MMB and move the Mouse/Pen to the left and to the right.

Cheers.

Eric.
my hovercraft is full of eels.
