Text3D

PostSun Jan 25, 2015 9:55 am

Hi,

Text+ allow manual kerning. How about Text3D?
I can select each character in 3D view. But I don't know how to move it.

Thank you.

You have to do advanced text modifiers on a 2D Text+ tool. You need to publish (right-click -> modify with -> publish) it's "StyledText" input box.

Then you connect the 3DText's text (right click on edit box -> connect to...) to the 2D text. The 2D tool is just for editing and having a preview of your text kerning/animation. The Text3D is the one you actually render.

Hi,

Thank you for reply.

I could connect the 3DText's text to the 2D text. But manual kerning doesn't link.

Text3D has clear buttons for manual kerning too. (Text tab>Advanced Font Controls)
For what? I don't know how to control its kerning. (not character spacing)
