Timecode Modifier Frame Blending

PostMon Mar 30, 2015 7:18 pm

I think I might have had this problem before but I don't recall how to solve it.

I have a simple comp consisting of a gray background with some white text on it. The text uses the Timecode Modifier. In the rendered file, as the digits click over, I'm getting undesired blending.

For example, if the digits are clicking over as 09 10 11, etc. It shows 09 then a ghost image of 10 over the 09 and then a pure 10, etc. So instead of getting a clean switch from 09 to 10, it is showing a blend of the two numbers. Currently, this is in a rendered MOV file. I think there was a switch somewhere that turns this off?

Thanks for any ideas!

Sounds like frame interpolation by the codec?

Try using the animation codec.
