Issues with Render Master on another machine

I've assigned the Fusion Render Master on another machine. I can network render just fine using multiple slaves but how do I view the progress in render manager? If I run the render manager locally, the queue is empty. I can only see the queue on the other render master computer's render manager.

The manual mentions a standalone render manager program called "rendermanager.exe" but I can't seem to find it on my machine or on the mentioned support page http://www.blackmagicdesign.com/support . Would running the render manager as a standalone program help?

Any ideas?

thanks,
Stephanein

There is a script called File->Script->Remote Monitor
Due to a new IUP version it does not work properly.

See a corrected version attached. I couldn't do much testing but it should fix the errors.
Copy and overwrite at your install directory. E.g.
C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\Fusion\Scripts\Utility

Thanks so much! This script seems to work. The previous one was throwing font errors.

Much appreciated,

Steph

I've been using this updated script and it works well. There's also the "render manager status" script that prints similar info to the console. I've assigned it to a hotkey and it's an easy way to take a quick peek at the render status.

My remaining question is this: Is the regular fusion Render Manager broken? Shouldn't it show me the render queue of the specified render master and not only my local machine?

I'm not sure if anyone has ever had the render manager working in this manner or if it has always been this way.

thanks for any insight on this matter.
