Just wanted to share a quick video that shows you where we are with Fusion development. Please check it out and of course we will have a lot more info at NAB so please drop by the Blackmagic Design booth to chat and learn more!
Though unable to attend, this news is exciting! I can finally use something other than Photoshop to process still images. Jumping up and down, singing oh yeah!
That's super great news for the many Mac users out there. However, as a PC user I was hoping we would see some improvements to the existing version of Fusion. Any changes on the horizon for us to see?

I can see a 3D-Cube in the Viewer panel. Visualize 3D Attributes? Arbitrary 3D attributes? Or simply rendering mode switches (shaded, wireframe ...). I have no clue.
And there is a tab for the current open Comp, but I guess that is the replacement for the MDI.
in the fusion skin folder are several bmp files, one of them is the one you see now in the video. its not a cube but 3 planes behind each other. its called pt_multilayer.bmp
so, this is a replaced icon for the channels in the viewer
I have no problems with porting Fusion to Mac, or Mac users. I was just hoping the port was being done in parallel with making improvements to the software.

To my knowledge, we will not be doing any streaming but all the information available will be posted to the website shortly after the start of the show.
