Bugreport: Duplicate3D Time Offset

PostWed Jun 03, 2015 10:47 am

Hi,

I came across some (small) bugs in the duplicate3D tool:

When putting the Trasfer Method to Linear, the Time Offset doesn't work any more.
The Jitter/Random Time Offset does however.

In the region mode of duplicate3D (and same goes for region modes on all particle tools):
when the region is set to mesh, it does not seem to work.
when set to bitmap, you should have control over the placement/size of the bitmap. Now it only applies to the first duplicate.
when set to bezier, there is no way to control the mask. you can however connect it to an existing 2D mask and fiddle around with that. But it does not result to anything since it's designed for the old 2D particlesystem mode, i guess.
The only region-modes that seem to work are cube, sphere and rectangle. Line does not behave like it should as well.
The most important ones are mesh and bitmap.

These were already an issue in 6.x and probably before.

Cheers,
