Troubleshooting

This thread collects technical problems and solutions from the forum.

Scripting

1. Problem: AddTools dialog or other scripts do not launch.
   Solutions:
   
   1. Check if no virus scanner or firewall blocks Fusion, eyeonScript & eyeonQtServer
      
   2. Check that no other apps occupy port TCP Port 10251
      
   3. Check No other script is still running (e.g. with a dialog in the background)
      

RendereManager

1. Problem: Rendermanager dialog does not show
   Cause: The RenderManager windows is probably drawn outside the screen area.
   Solutions:
   
   1. Open the Fusion7.prefs (default location: C:\ProgramData\Blackmagic Design\Fusion\Profiles\Default) and look the for RenderQueue = { Window = { ... } } entries. Set Top and Left to 0 or some other value on the screen.
      
   2. Delete the pref files and let fusion rebuild them
