Preview Rendering on the Network

PostThu Jun 18, 2015 3:33 pm

Whenever I restart network rendering, by loading a rendering queue, the slaves forget that this job was sent with preview settings and render the full resolution.

Also: the manual states that there is a standalone Render Manager to be downloaded from www.blackmagicdesign.com/support (page 314), but I couldn't find it.

Any help? Thanks!

Not sure about standalone, but you can always use the free version of fusion to manager renders without using up a license.

That's an interesting suggestion. I was planning to use network rendering because Fusion Studio 7.7 crashes for me very often. So I needed the standalone renderer to make sure there's a master always restarting the render.

But because of the other problem with preview rendering, I reverted back to the eyeon-era Fusion 7, for now, which doesn't crash.
