Fusion 7 Adding Mask and Texture to Object 3d

Hi, I am currently working on adding a Wolverine Claw on my hand from footage that was shot. I added a polyline mask to the claws so that way they come out at the right time. However, I can't seem to add a texture or material to the object 3d. It is just a cone that was duplicated but the object 3d can only have either the texture/material or the mask attached to its material input. Is there anyway to have both a mask and a texture/material added to an object 3d that is on top of this footage?

Each object only gets one material per render pass, yes. But you can combine those materials together before they are applied to the object.

In your case you would apply the polygon mask to the "color" texture used in a material. So try something like this...

Materials can be much more complex though. You can add reflections, normal maps, etc, and you can blend multiple materials together.

Hi, Chad you can ignore the previous post, I pasted in the ward tool with the background and polygon mask you provided. How was this obtained? Also I can't seem to get the claws to be a metallic type of color it seems to be transparent when I choose grey color.
