I'm looking for doing a depth of field with a black and white image sequence. I try to do a channel booleans with the operation in copy all the channel in do nothing. then i went into the aux channels, enable extra channel and put the z buffer in lightness FG.
After that i put a depth blur and it kinda work but the objects that are not supposed to be blur get some kind of halo behind them and the edge stay sharp. So it's really not reacting like a depth of field.
I'm also trying to make a depth of field using an alpha map an any kind of blur you can find on the blur Bin I always have the exact same problem halo + hard edge at the same time.
Any idea on how to make it work? (i use the free version of fusion 7)
