Fusion Shuts Down On Start Up!

PostSat Jul 11, 2015 2:07 pm

Hello,

I have a computer with the processor.
Intel i7 3770 CPU 3.40GHz, 64 Bit OS with 16Gb Ram and 4GB Nvidia GTX 970Graphics Card.

The Computer works fine with all the other softwares but for some reason Fusion just quits as soon as I start it. I tried looking into Firewall settings, Repair and Re-installed it about 20 times now. I am a beginner at VFX so I wanna learn on this powerhouse. Any Help?

Thnks.

Having the same problem. Similar specs on my p.c.. Have been able to run other very large, memory intensive programs, such as Maya, with no problem. Any ideas please? Would really love to try this software.

Are you running Fusion Free or Fusion Studio? Fusion Studio needs a dongle to run, Free does not.

Fusion studio would complain it needs a dongle, right?

Are you up to date with the 9xx series video card drivers? They can be problematic.

I never had any issues with Fusion and I'm running a GTX970, so I really doubt that's it.

@Op

Try reinstalling Quicktime and also check your antivirus/firewall so it's not that which stops Fusion in it's tracks somehow.
