Depth of Field ?

PostTue Aug 04, 2015 7:06 pm

I would like to add a Depth of Field and I also would like to control the Bokeh Effect.

I am using the FREE FUSION Software.

- Is this possible to do ?
- and if so, what Tool do I have to use and how to apply ?
- any Video tutorials ?

thank you so much for any little help,
appreciate it !

Yes you can.

You set this up in the renderer3d tool via OpenGL

Anyone knows what's the name of the presenter in the above video?
He has posted some awesome stuff in the past, but nothing in recent years, would like to do a search for his tuts.
Sorry for the OT.

Isaac Guenard. He used to be an Eyeon employee, but now he's "private sector", last I saw him he was doing pipeline at Prime Focus.

if you already have a rendered sequence you can use the depth blur with a rendered z channel:

most times the plugin "lenscare" from frischluft gives better looking results, because it will do a depth based defocus and not only a blur

and then there is this macro:

ok, I was watching the entire tutorial.

But in the video he is using a 3D Camera and for the DOF Effect he is using the so called Renderer3D Node.

However, I don't use a 3D Camera in my shot.
I want to use the ZDepth Pass only.

So what tool do I have to use in order to get that done ?
Plus, I would like to control the BOKEH effect.

I was not able to find a simple tutorial about that.

Thank you so much for any little help,
appreciate it !

You can't. Would require a plugin.
