wacom tablet question

Looking at getting a Wacom tablet from 2009ish. I am on a new mac pro with Bosc. I know the mac version is not out now but does Fusion play nice with Wacom tablets even if they are a few years older? Or do you have to have a more recent version?

Sounds like a stupid question but I was reading up on problems people had had with older tablets and photoshop/AE so thought I would ask. I also emailed Black Magic and they could not answer it and suggested I ask here

I can only speak for windows here, but had never a bigger problem with wacoms over the years.
started to work in fusion with a intuos 2 and right now have a intuos4 (from 2010) working on my workstation.

I've been using a Wacom with Fusion since day 1, and i feel like a cripple when i have to use a mouse with it :)

One side note though is that the pen of the Intuos 4 is of debatable quality, my Intuos 2 pens are still going strong since the day i bought them 13/14 years ago, however, of the four Intuos 4 tablets though, 2 pens have died within 4/5 years time.
