Fusion 8 Beta - Windows 10 UI issue

PostThu Aug 27, 2015 10:46 am

I hope this is the place to feedback issues?

As you can see from the images, the text for the tools at the top and also for the tool itself - for example - Font - Styled Text, Extrusion etc are all slightly cut off.

Also, is there a list anywhere of the new additions to Fusion 8 over Fusion 7? If so, I'd love to see it!

What is the resolution of your display? Do you have any scaling applied by the OS?

Same for windows 8 in 4k
Fusion 7.7 seems to respect the dpi scaling options in the icon's compatibility tab, but I'm not getting results when doing the same for 8

Resolution of display is 2560 = 1440 and I'm not aware of any scaling ... how would I check?

right click on fusion.exe icon, select the tab 'compatibility' and on the bottom there is an option for DPI scaling. Turn that off.

That is not working on my system, it works fine on fusion 7.7, so there is currently no way to fix that using windows settings, other than lower resolution.

I think it's something to do with the added white space which seems to do the reverse in 4k.
