why change keyboard mapping? OSX, LIN, WIN

PostFri Aug 28, 2015 1:13 am

I just want to gripe about one thing right now,

its the OSX keyboard mapping for apps. When autodesk ported smoke to osx, they kept the CTRL modifyer key throughout the app.

you can go from ANY VERSION on ANY OS and not have to retrain your brain.

REQUEST: Please let us have an option to keep normal keyboard mapping.

OPTION OSX Keyboard Mapping ON/OFF (could work)

thanks, and i hope others agree.

Maybe instead you should switch your Windows keyboard?

You can use a software like AutoHotKey or HotKeyControl to switch your Ctrl/Alt/Win keys to be like your Mac keyboard. I even use the Mac keyboard on my Windows computer with free Bootcamp drivers.

Regardless of solutions, it is a valid request and a top one at that.
