Templates in Fusion for Mac

PostMon Aug 31, 2015 2:37 pm

Anybody know where the Templates are located in the Mac version? I have looked in my bins for particle templates and others. Thanks!

Here's the ones we show on the road show

The original ones are in the package. You will have to add them into the bin (don't add the .bmp files, those are the thumbnails)

Sorry for asking this, but where do you install these on the Mac? Thanks again!

While I understand where to place the Template files, I don't understand how to access them from within Fusion. They are not displayed in my Bins and I don't see a way to link the Templates folder to the Bins or through the preferences.

A few ways..

first, you can drag and drop any .setting file directly into fusion flow.
However, they were supposed to be in the bins and are not.
To install them into bin, create a new bin folder, drag and drop only the setting files into the bin, the .bmp will become the thumbnail.

Either double click or drag and drop from bin into flow.

Thank you, yeah, ultimately I figure that I could do it that way....but this a only a Beta behavior right? I assume that in the final version, the Templates will automatically be added and will be available without having to do this weird manual import...right?

I assume it will be a checkbox in the installer, right?
