DNG and Cine import issues

PostMon Aug 31, 2015 2:56 pm

Fusion (6.4, 7.0, 7.7, 8.0)

I'm seeing 2 unrelated, but similar issues.

1) DNG's have bad debayering artifacts. Tried with URSA, CION, and BMPCC footage. All look worse that the same clips loaded into Resolve and Photoshop. Real bad CFA patterning.

2) Vision Research Phantom .CINE files don't have a CIA filter setting. It only does the equivalent to PCC's "Medium" algorithm (it's pixel perfect match, so I assume Fusion is using Vision Research libraries, which if they are, providing a multicombo for Fastest through Best would be awesome).

EDIT: Resolve handles .CINE correctly
