Beta 2 - can't return to 'normal UI'

PostSat Sep 12, 2015 9:52 pm

I just tried the 200% settings for the GUI on my 1600x900 laptop.
Big mistake. Nothing fits on the screen anymore...

INCLUDING THE PREFERENCE SETTINGS WHERE I CAN REVERT TO THE OLD UI!

Now I can't get back to the 'auto' setting, since that's way, way off screen now.

I guess only a reinstall will fix it?

Sure. I could do that. But it's hardly the user friendly way it should be, especially since it's a mistake invoked by simply adding a checkmark in the user settings.

You can (or you atleast have been able to-) do this in Windows, change screen resolution to 640x480 and you will not be able to fit the windows and GUI you need to get it back to a higher resolution.

In the end, it's just hard to preemptively figure out what crazy stuff us users will do and counter that, or as a very intelligent man once put it...
