Distributed Rendering Setup ?

trying to figure out how to setup the distributed rendering on all my blades.
Wasn't able to find any tutorial or guide.

Do you have fusion studio? Network rendering is only available on the Studio edition of Fusion.

Yes, of course. I do have the Studio version !

no reason at all.. thought the thread was not opened with that particular and specific question.. that's all .. and still couldn't find a manual or tutorial...

it is too simple for tutorial...

Inside Fusion:
Ctrl+M -> Slave -> Scan For Slaves -> Add comp

When the slaves was scanned you will see all you render nodes (or all PC where the nodes was installed (or copy of Fusion, in this case Fusion should be launched on this PCs) or you will see just your PC). Add your comp and the process will start..

Thank you so much.. that's really cool... hmm.. ok.. I guess something didn't work out then with the installation... I am not seeing any additional render slaves, except my workstation...

hmm... wondering what I didn't do.. or what was going wrong with the installation...
soo.. on my render slaves.. I have to install Fusion Studio for each machine... plus anything extra ?

Or do I miss here something ?

you need to install the "renderslave" on the other machines and start it.

this topic has some infos about it where you can find the insaller for the renderslave:

i think you cant run fusion studio without a dongle or use the normal fusion for network rendering, so the other machines wont be "online" to see for the rendermanager

just install renderslaves on your other machines (follow the link which michael sent in prev post) and all should work fine.

ok.. thank you so much.. I was able to install it on all my blades.

About the RenderMaster.. should my Workstation be used as the Render Master ?
Or would it be better to use the Render Master on my Server ?

An then another thing.. I am getting a red cross on machines... don't know what it means:
