Oversized Controls

PostTue Sep 22, 2015 5:49 pm

I'm having a hard time managing the Controls View now, it's worse than earlier skins. I've noticed that the input controls are much bigger and yet the controls view itself is smaller because of the increase in the headroom. I've made a side-by-side image to compare.

As you can see, the tool controls start much lower down than it used to, so we've lost real estate there, and the fonts and input spacing is increased, so we can get fewer of them in the smaller space. This results in more scrolling and larger mouse movements.

I've been told we will see changes for beta3 on white space issues.
