Format import into Fusion

PostMon Oct 05, 2015 5:59 pm

Hi there,

I have some issues loading clips that I rendered in DaVinci Resolve 12
So far, no clip that I rendered into DNxHR (doesn't matter if HQ, HQX or 444) will load properly into Fusion; the frame-range is correct, but the image is all black.

Is that a known bug or expected to happen?

Best,
Rick

Have you tried a DNx file from another source?

Hi their Rony,

DNxHD doesn't seem to be a problem (didn't try it with DaVinci encoded DNxHD, but the files I have on my computer worked fine).

I also encoded DNxHR straight out of Media Encoder and After Effects, they also won't play properly in Fusion.
I can open them in Adobe Software, in DaVinci, no issue.

Best,
Rick

I have similar issue with DNxHD movs out of MC which is not good for Avid users. In Preferences only few codec seems to be available for Quicktime.

I am using OSX 10.10.5 and Beta2.
