Animatating with Nulls - connect other objects to templates

Is there a way to animate with nulls, or connect properties for animation without effecting the original origin of an object. Since I don't know how to accomplish this in Fusion I may be able to better explain the analogy from and After Effects perspective. If I animate a Null's position and rotation, I could connect a camera to the Null and inherent the motion of the Null from the Camera's origin. This way, If I wanted to see the animation of the Null through a camera with a dolly in or a dolly out, or with a jib up or a jib down, all I would have to do is connect one of the cameras to the Null that's animated and and the camera would follow the Null animation while still starting at it's original orgin.

Ideally I'm trying to create templated dolly and jib type animations, in which I could connect a Camera that's been exported as Alembic (so i'ts in the exact position I want the camera to be in) but connect the camera to a Null so it would animate a slight push in, or slight jib down.

I've tried using the Transform3D node, but the camera jumps to the position of the transform rather than just inheriting it's properties. I've also tried using the Translation Connect To: parameter, but the same thing as using the transform3D occurs. Any thoughts on how to achieve this?

If I understand you correctly you could achieve this with a transform3D node after your imported camera.
