QuickTime (Mac) cannot alter quality and frames for export

Hello,

I tried to modify the standard setting for QuickTime (quality 75% keyframe every 30 frames), but they cannot be selected or modified.

I'm testing Fusion for a project with source-media recorded with 25 frames per second, thus have to retime the exported files from 30 to 25 frames which results in a light jitter.

Is there anything I'm missing? I tried to modify the settings in "General" and on a per-comp basis to no avail.

BTW: Still waiting for Primatte on the Mac, but made "Ultra Keyer" work on a badly lit green screen for the moment. ;)

Thanks in advance,
Erik

In the global prefs, under quicklime, you will find all the codec specific controls that are not available in the saver.
Although H264 should respond to the quality and speed adjustments from the saver.
The format speed is only for timeline playback, the quicktime playback speed is set in the saver.

Are you on beta2? what version of OSX are you on?

The output format is set to ProRes4444, so it is basically h.264 internally, but the quality slider in "General" and "comp" still shows 75% quality and cannot be changed.

My bad, I missed the "Format"-tab in the saver. Thanks a million! :)

Yes beta 2 on OS X 10.11.1.

Thanks again,
Erik
