sliding key frames in time

PostFri Oct 30, 2015 9:59 pm

Hello

I have an image sequence with 120 frames.it runs from 0 to 120.

If I want to add some text on top or something else and delay the animation start , how can I do this?

Thanks

There are several options. The first two I can think of are:

You can either use a TimeStretcher which allows you to fully retime your clip or you can use the "Hold First Frame" slider in the Loader to make the clip longer by repeating the first frame for as long as you want.

You can slide the whole clip to a later frame (changing the Global In in the Loader) but then you'll end up with empty frames in the beginning. Depending on how you build your comp this can lead to failing tools so I think the "Hold First Frame" slider is less hassle.
