Fusion 7 Crashes on comp load

PostSun Nov 01, 2015 3:26 pm

Hi,

I am new to the forum, new to Fusion bit not new to hobby-level compositing.

I created my first comp a few days ago. I admit, some of the flows were very slow to render but they worked.
I returned to it today and I cannot open it. Every time I try to open, Fusion just dies. No error messages, no warning, it just closes.

Has anyone experienced this, or know of any solution?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Make sure you don't have 'all' selected next to transport controls (last button, some-none-all radio button.
Also, 16gb ram and a decent GPU are min requirements, not sure what you are using right now.

Go to your userdata folder in your user dir, and find the blackmagic/fusion and rename your preference file in the 'profile' directory.

let me know if any of that helps.

ps: Fusion is touted as one of, if not the fasted composting engine around!
