Greater than UHD bug when rendering

PostThu Dec 24, 2015 5:05 am

I have an image sequence that is a LOT bigger than UHD (36 megapixels). I tried rendering it and got the "you can't render larger than UHD in Fusion" error. No biggie, I set the output resolution in the render dialog to UHD (3840x2160)... and got the same error. :-/

Yes... But as I wrote, I was getting that error with the resolution set TO understand.

Have you changed the Frame Format in the composition's settings? Also, if I remember correctly, having Disk Cache enabled on any of the nodes which are processing higher-than-UHD-resolution data will show this message as well, so check that.

Frame format doesn't matter. Disk caching will trigger the error. It's possible that "output" could be defined as the output of a tool, but that's up to BMD.

Hello everyone

Am a new user and have run into a similar issue. I get the UHD Output error. I have followed the conversations in this thread, disabled disk cache and I still get the error. I am trying to save in .mp4 but it did the same thing in .mov.

It's a very small animation, only 200 X 160.

When I render without the save node, there is no issue, it's when I add the save node. What am I doing wrong please? Thanks

Danny
