High quality glows?

PostTue Jan 05, 2016 2:09 pm

Is there an easy way of achieving high quality glows in Fusion?

Normally In the past I've relied on After Effects plugins to provide nice lens effects. I frequently use optical flares for light source glows and Frischluft Flair for hotspot reflective glows such as chrome badges/carpaint.

I've not found the standard hotspot and highlight nodes particularly useful in Fusion so far. If anyone can offer some tips or a link to a cool fuse that does nice post lens effects that would be really helpful.

Cheers

what about the "glow" and "Softglow" nodes?

and if you looking for lens flares try these:

you still have to build the flare yourself, but you can get really good results from it.
the flare fuses also publish the resulting transforms so you can also drive images of hotspots and flares with it (and thats what optical flares does in general)
