Fusion 8 release version hangs on startup

Windows 7 64x

Have uninstalled and removed previous versions and removed any remnants I can find.

Taskbar icon appears after a few seconds - no splashscreen and then task manager reports 'Not Responding'.

Multiple restarts and reinstalls doesn't seem to make a difference.

Is there a particular Nvidia driver version required? BM Desktop video version? Is there anything I can clear out to fix the installation?

Am I missing something obvious?

Cheers.

I have
Boris CC 9 OFX for Resolve and Scratch
Magic Bullet Suite
Neat Video Pro OFX

Do you think any or all of these could be causing the issue? Can I disable OFX from loading when I open fusion?

Same thing here..
But on OS X 10.11.4
mac pro 8-core, d700

I have OFX Plugins installed but to be honest the beta version worked fine even if you got a 1000 error messages at the loading screen. I tried to uninstall most of the plugins just incase but the same thing happens.
Now its tedious email support with:
Have you installed the latest version of Fusion? Wait 2 days.
Have you any other applications running at the same time? Wait 2 days etc..

I am on Windows, so not sure this applies to you, but I found nVidia ShadowPlay screen recorder to shut down Fusion on startup when enabled. As soon as I disabled ShadowPlay, Fusion started up normally.

I actually found this out by hooking MSVS debugger on Fusion executable and checking what it crashes on. It crashed on some library from GeForce Experience software, which once I googled, pointed me to ShadowPlay.

It also crashes 3ds Max randomly, so I reported it to nVidia, but I got reply from the usual India tech support telling me to do re-install of drivers even though that was #1 on the list of things I already tried written in my original report to them. :/
