[Bug] Merge blend is sometimes ignored on render.

PostFri May 06, 2016 1:54 pm

When I have a series of pipelines stitched together with a series of Merge>Blend tools, everything works as expected. However, when rendering multiple frames at once, the output footage flashes between one pipeline and the other, as if some frames think the blend value is 0 in stead of 1.

The only way to render correctly is
1. Clear cache
2. Render one frame at a time.

If I clear the cache and render multiple frames at once, I still get the flashes.

Does anyone have a clue why this happens? It would be well beneficial to be able to render at least 4 frames at once. I think someone must be familiar with this issue, as I remember a similar problem when I briefly tried out Fusion 5.

Using Version 8.0 build 18 on Windows.

Found a bug that makes everything transparent in the Edit tab if blend is set to 0. But works fine with blend set to 0.008.

If I switch foreground with background, then my transparent background is semitransparent (Wierd).

If I connect Planar Transform straight to output skipping the merge node, the text is visible in the fusion tab but not visible in the edit tab.
