zoom on pen and tablet

PostMon Jun 06, 2016 8:37 pm

New to Fusion and one thing I have not found is ...
a neat way to zoom when you use the pen and tablet, yes short cut = but cntrl + shift let you pan around a shot or the interface ... there must be a pen & tablet equivalent to lrft + centre click using a mouse ...
Any takers out there?

cheers

I'v assigned the MMB to the bottom rocker switch of my wacom.

So:
MMB + hover = pan
MMB + stylus pressed down = zoom

That works perfectly, just make sure that "Hover Click" is on in the wacom control panel.

Cheers,
Mike

I currently press - & + on my keyboard
not ideal, I really want to just press alt+ a wacom button like other 3d apps I use :(

Ok I jsut figure it out
from this 2014 post

different but work, cool

Fusion works slightly differently, but very nicely with a Wacom.

First thing you'd want to do is map your MMB to one of the pen's buttons.

Then, hold down the MMB and move the pen (hold MMB and hover over the tablet) for translations, Alt+MMB (hold MMB and hover over the tablet while pressing Alt) for rotation, and MMB+LMB (hold MMB and draw on the tablet) for zooming.

Moving and zooming work the same way for the Flow view.

Once you're used to that you won't want to go back to a mouse. It's a great way to navigate.
