Disparity maps

PostMon Jun 13, 2016 1:26 pm

Hi all...before we buy Fusion we need to make sure the disparity maps are usable in our pipeline. Since we cant test Fusion studio, we have no way of knowing if its the right type of maps.

We are about to start a CG stereo feature and need this part sorted.

Is there anyone here that could generate a disparity map for me so i can compare it to other softwares disparity maps.

I have a stereo clip ready for download.

many many thanks

Disparity maps in Fusion are the same as they are in Nuke. So the colour values represent the distance between L and R in pixels directly.

Which makes them one of the few things in Fusion to be not resolution independent.
