Fusion 8.2 on Linux Beta doesn't open.

PostFri Aug 19, 2016 2:19 pm

Hi all,

Running Kubuntu 16.04 using Gnome Shell (I'm planning to clean install to Ubuntu GNOME when 16.10 comes out) and I installed Fusion. However, when I install via the command line, I get this error:

"/tmp/.mount_JVNMg1/AppRun: 13: [: 0: unexpected operator" with either 0 or 77 numbers before the Unexpected Operator (depending on whether I am installing or trying to test).

When it's installed, however, and I try to run from the icon, it thinks for a second and then closes. Running from command line results in "Illegal instruction (core dumped)" and a Dmesg gives me "traps: Fusion[5112] trap invalid opcode ip:7f286819384d sp:7ffe924b0ad0 error:0 in libfusionscript.so[7f2868066000+324000]"

What can I do to fix this? Is there a new beta on the way? The main website appears to not be letting me download the beta again (though I've done it three times already).

Help! I want to play!

I know it is not much help but it works on my Fedora 24 install. If I get a chance I'll try it on other distro.
