Triggering Animation using Expression

PostTue Sep 13, 2016 5:33 pm

I was wondering if there was a way to trigger a range of keyframes for a specific object using an expression?

I was wanting to create a light wall made from of a single light animation. I thought about duplicating the light, then triggering a quick-on/dim-off animation using an expression. My hope is to drive the light wall grid with simple black and white animations that would trigger the light's on/off animation based on a pixel value.

Something to this effect. https://videohive.net/item/flashing-lig ... 7?s_rank=1

Any insight or ideas on how to accomplish this would be great. I am rather new to Fusion, and am wanting to get deeper into writing expressions. Thanks so much!

Sincerely,

Search for the 'Probe Modifier' in the Fusion Tool Manual.
I think this might be what you're looking for.
