Loader fail while loading Quicktime

PostThu Nov 10, 2016 7:36 pm

Hi there,

I can't load any Quicktime file into Fusion (for Mac). I always get some error messages in the console :?

Here's an example what the console says:

Loader1 failed to load file "/Volumes/My Passport White/Editing/Footage/Action Essentials2/Footage/15. Smoke_Charges/Smoke_Charge_09.mov" (clip "/Volumes/My Passport White/Editing/Footage/Action Essentials2/Footage/15. Smoke_Charges/Smoke_Charge_09.mov" at frame 220) : Invalid argument

Does anybody has the same issue?

Regards
Dominik

does the quicktime that's throwing the error have 220 frames?
What happens on frame 1?

Hi Ryan,

it has more than 220 frames. I just scrolled over the timeline and stopped at frame 220. I just found out something curious. When I import .mov footage form my cameras it works (Go Pro & BMPCC). But when i try to use some .mov stockfootage it doesn't. In this example i used footage from the Videocopilot Action Essentials 2 pack. I even have no problem importing mp4 format from my smartphone.
