No not yet, hoping someone on here can help. I have tried different scenarios and still no luck. Let me know if you figure it out and I will do the same.
I never had a problem like this, but maybe you have set your Fusion Preferences in Global Range to start with 1 instead of 0.
In this case it would be likely Fusion Connect in Resolve is not aware of that and generates a project starting with 0 but places the footage's head on frame 1.
If so, you will have a Loader error, because in frame 0 the footage does not exist.
Another issue that can be happening is, when you export a bunch of clips to Fusion through Fusion Connect, the relative time position of the clips in Davinci is preserved in Fusion.
For example: if you export two clips and the clips' heads are misaligned by one frame, one of them will not exist on frame 0, and you will have a Loader error on that specific frame.
This is not a misbehaviour of Fusion. Loaders exist only when there are footage to fill them. Outside this interval, you will not be able to see the loaders in the viewer.
This is not a problem as long as you do not use these "short" loaders as a background of other tools. As a foreground it must be ok.
Thank you so much for your reply. I have tried what you said and still gives me the same error. I have attached a screenshot of the timeline. I am trying to grab the first clip and make a new fusion connect clip. When fusion opens, both nodes are red and the console gives me the error above. Do you see anything wrong with the timeline in the screenshot? I am a total newbie and still learning this program. i really like it so far and want it to work.
Your loader is indeed in the correct position in Fusion's Timeline.
I also see that you are exporting to Fusion in Quicktime.
I guess that what can be happening is that Resolve does not need Quicktime Player, but Fusion (still) do.
There are two possibilities:
1 - You do not have Quicktime Player installed 2 - You have Quicktime installed but not the codec needed (for example AVID's codec are installed separetely)
If one of these possibilities is true, you must install Quicktime and any codecs you are using for export.
If this does not resolve your problem, choose another format for Fusion Connect (like DPX or EXR)
weird, but the first post does not show its from me. I started the thread but .......i don't know. I can not change the subject to solved because its not showing me as the original author.
