Deleting a scene without affecting keyframes in the next

PostSat Feb 18, 2017 11:10 pm

Hello.
I am using Fusion for my first motion graphics video. I have a fairly simple video but with a significant number of nodes and animations. How can I delete/shorten/extend scenes without affecting animations and keyframes in scenes which follow?
For example I have 20 merge nodes. I would like to shorten merge number 2. But if I just shorten the merge everything else stays at the one place as before cut and therefore I will have a empty part of the video which I need to get rid of.

Thanks, hopefully it is understandable :)

depending how your animations are set up you should be able to offset and move keyframes in the timeline view. So, delete your merge 2, and move all keyframes after that point back to re-time how you need it.

As far as I know there is no "ripple" function in Fusion like there would be in a NLE
