compositing baked textures in Fusion

PostMon Feb 20, 2017 1:15 pm

Hello there,

I was wondering if somebody knows some good tutorials or articles, when it comes to: compositing seperate baked texture maps onto fbx-files in blackmagic fusion ??

I have a 3d scene in Fusion with several fbx-files --> and i did the shading and lighting in Blender, cause it has Global Illumination. I baked different texture maps for each fbx-file like:
--> AO-map, Diffuse-map, Diffuse-direct-map, Glossy-map, Normal-map

Now i want to learn how i can composite these properly in Fusion. In other words i want to understand how this works.

I hope somebody can send me some good links for tutorials or articles??

thanx in front

Depending how your passes are set up, you could connect them through a blin or ward shader, that might be what you're looking for.

Lennart, I think you need to check out "cmiVFX - Fusion Advanced Lighting". He shows you how to import a FBX model, texture it and light it.
