Bin Server - Installation Instructions?

I'd like to run Bin Server (Fusion Studio 8). In the manual I see how to configure my instance of Fusion Studio to find another Bin Server, but there is no information on how to explicitly set up a computer to act as a Bin Server only.

I would like to set up a computer on my network to act only as a Bin Server, no need to run Fusion Studio 8 on this workstation for production.

Is this possible? The lack of documentation or my lack of comprehension is making this more difficult than I think it should be.

A follow up question would be how to copy/move bins I have created on my workstation to the server so that the rest of my coworkers can access those bins. (I realize I can leave my computer running Fusion Studio and have coworkers point to my workstation, but that is not an ideal solution.)

i guess its still the same, only "eyeonServer" is now "FusionServer"

I appreciate the reply with link. I will try to see if creating a bin server will work in that manner. I hope BMD still chimes in with an official response.

It's silly that so much scripting is needed instead of just having an install file. I have experience setting up render nodes for 3D programs/plugins and they make it very easy at installation to select workstation/slave.

Hmm, I don't see any complicated scripting involved.
Run the fusionserver on a dedicated machine, point in your workstation to that IP as bin server. Ready

If you want an official response from BMD contact support directly. Even though it's an official forum, this is still a user forum. Sometimes BMD people will jump in, but don't expect them to.
