Interlaced ProRes Renders

PostTue Feb 28, 2017 7:43 pm

I am using Fusion to do some up conversions from SD to HD. The source, as you can imagine is interlaced. I wish to keep it that way. I have made a flow that is doing what I want. I have everything working well except for one thing. The final ProRes .mov file is being tagged as Progressive when viewed in various tools.

Is this a bug or is there one big setting I am missing?

Thanks,

Jef

You can set the loader and saver to be fields, Look at Process mode in the Saver file Tab, and top of the Loader. You can swap Field order to correct NTSC to HD fields, since the order is swaped.

Hello Steve,

I have done all that you suggested originally. The ProRes file is being made correctly except for the metadata. It is being flagged as Progressive when in fact the content is Interlaced. That is my problem.
