Drag DVE anchor

PostMon Mar 27, 2017 4:40 pm

Having trouble finding an answer for this... can I drag the anchor of a DVE so that it scales and rotates from that point rather than the default centre?

Yes. The term you're looking for is the Pivot. It's the green "X" in the Viewer, but it's unfortunately impossible to select it while it's hiding behind the Center handle. You can make it the active control by using the little pop-up menu in the lower-right corner of the Viewer:

Or you can move it away from the Center by entering a value other than 0.5 in one of its coordinates in the control panel.

Also, when the view is active, pressing TAB will cycle through the various options (angle, pivot etc)

Nice! It works for the transform tool also.
