Significant Banding on Export

I have a final export that involves some 3D lights. On my final export to ProRes LT (our organization's delivery format) banding is really bad. I understand that LT isn't a format that will necessarily look the best, but I never run into banding issues like this when exporting from AE. Any advice for reducing this? It doesn't seem to have helped, but I did change my Renderer3D node to be float32, as moving the project to 32bit is what I'd do in AE.

Make sure the final render node is also set to 16 or 32 bit. In Fusion the background always wins, so you may have merged a 32 bit image over an 8 bit one which would then resort to 8 bit final output! So best to check the chain of nodes. I had this very recently. All Prores - including LT is 10 bit, if you are confident in your hardware chain is 10 bit through to final monitoring then i'm sure it's just a merge knocking your output back to 8-bit.

If Paul's advice doesn't solve your problem for some reason, try adding a little bit of noise right before the export. It doesn't need to be much, just enough to create some dithering.

Thanks everyone. I'll try those ideas as soon as I get a chance.
