See Values for Primatte Buttons?

PostSun May 28, 2017 5:08 am

Primatte's Primatte tab has a group of buttons that you can select and then use the cursor to select values for.

For example, you can press the Select Background Color button and then use the cursor to add to the background color selection. What I don't see is a way to tell what color I just added to the background color.

In Resolve's 3D Qualifier, for example, you can see swatches that represent the colors you've just added/subtracted from the selection. And these swatches can be individually removed. Is there something similar in Primatte?

Thanks so much!

there is no such function in primatte (even not in versions for other host software)

you should request that at the developers of primatte

I'll try contacting them. That's a pretty severe deficiency, IMHO.

I think Primatte works in a very different way than most keyers. I never really understood it, but I think it doesn't just 'store values' like some other keyers do. It's a purely iterative process where you look at the result you're getting and make your adjustments based on that.

Since I can't explain it correctly, I'll let the Whitepaper do the talking for me

Thanks Sander, I'm trying to work my way through that.

BTW, is there a way to reset a particular button's values? I've tried right-clicking and choosing Set to Default, but that does nothing, AFAICT.

Thanks again!
