Fusion 8.2.1 on Centos 7 libFusion.so error

PostThu Jun 22, 2017 1:27 pm

We have a launching system that cleans the environment, and then injects only the environment that we deem necessary for running a particular package for a particular project.

If I run Fusion from the installed Icon in the menus, I get no error.

When I run it from our launcher I get the following error -

[string"_TextStyleFontMetrics_getCharacterShape"]:2032:libFusion.so: cannot open shared object file: no Such file or directory

Now I have tried adding environment variables I have in a normal terminal where it does run, and so far nothing has helped.

Any ideas?

I also have this error, that comes up both running from our launcher and running normally -

libDeckLinkAPI.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.

Ideas?

I have not tried the functionality of Fusion when run either way, so I do not know if these errors are problematic - as I am pipeline.

Thanks

OK found a fix for this - it seems that adding the path on Linux to the Fusion install folder to PATH, to be able to run Fusion, is a problem. If you do not add it to PATH and rather run /opt/BlackmagicDesign/Fusion9/Fusion then it gets round this issue!
