Cinema 4D to Fusion - Texture Export

PostMon Jul 03, 2017 11:48 am

Hi guys,
I've just finished creating 3D doors in Cinema 4D and I would like to bring it to Fusion.
I've tried it before but never I have managed to bring a 3D asset from Cinema 4D to Fusion with textures.
Also, what if I would like to have my doors opening? Does the FBX support animation?

Hi Dominik, I haven't had luck bringing in textures from C4D via alembic or FBX, but I'm using octane render in C4d, so there might be some conversion issues from c4d via export. I end up recreating the textures from C4d in Fusion via the Blinn shader. It's a little manual, but once you have it set up it's pretty straight forward.

Although it's not as advanced texturing method as the one in the C4D, ill use it for now. Thanks a lot mate.
