It's been awhile since there has been a fusion update. Anything happening?

When they're ready, I hope they release a teaser video like they did with the announcement of Fusion for Mac demonstration at NAB 2015.

Remember this one?

Here's hoping they create a little bit of buzz before the big reveal.

What improvements, new content are you hoping for? It is a steep learning curve for me as a new user of fusion studio. I'm still trying to get my hands around what's in the current version!

There was mention of Fusion 9 on this forum (yesterday) but that thread has vanished - or perhaps I imagined it. If the great work BMD has been doing with Resolve is any indication, I would think we will see great things for Fusion as well.

BTW - I found an article on-line dated July 28 2017 that mentioned Fusion 9. It has since been deleted as well so I imagine it as leaked information. I won't post its contents here out of respect for BMD, however, if BMD deems it necessary to delete this post, I would appreciate an email explaining their motivation. Thanks.

I was told that the next update was supposed to be announced at Siggraph and the thread was there. The websites probably released the announcement before BMD as slated to show it either today or tomorrow. But since I found 8 tech sits with the same article wording, it is most likely premature press announcement that's supposed to happen today or tomorrow.

Well it looks like it does not open to the public until tomorrow and not today (weird) so we will find out tomorrow.

Although the SIGGRAPH conference has begun, the exhibition hall doesn't open until tomorrow (Tuesday).

We are currently only approving/testing with Windows 8 and above. This is mentioned in the Read More link on the support page of our site where you can also download the software.

Congratulations on the release of v9.
Purchase of the Studio release is now officially on my radar. :)
