Fusion Projects Folder

PostFri Jul 21, 2017 7:32 pm

Where are fusion projects and autosaves stored? Also is autosave retrieval the same as Resolve?
Thanks in advance...

Autosaves are stored alongside the .comp file. There's a user definable directory for autosaves of comps that have not yet been saved. I think it's Autosaves:

Thank you, but what is the path to the .comp files.

When you save a new comp, it will ask you where you want to save it.

Great. I thought they were nested deep like Resolve projects. I am still looking for auto save.
Thanks

Autosave happens automatically every few seconds and is stored next to the .comp file. It's called flename.autocomp. However, if you successfully save and close Fusion without crashing, the .autocomp is deleted, so you may never see it unless you crash. If you load a .comp file and an .autocomp of the same name is available, Fusion will ask if you want to load it instead.

Thank you. Is it not possible to revisit an older version of a project?

Just don't save over your files

For convenience, there is a "Save Version" command in the File menu. If your file ends in a digit, Save Version will increase it by one.
