Python for Fusion on Linux

PostSat Jul 22, 2017 3:40 pm

I am running Linux Mint 18.1 and I have Python 2.7.12 and 2.7.13 installed, yet Fusion doesn't seem to recognise it. I think it might be because it is not installed in correct location, but I can't find the correct location where it should be installed.

Also, is there a way to change that location, because Python 2.7 comes installed by default with Linux, and from what I understand, I shouldn't be playing with that default installation (removing or moving it to different locations), so it would be better if I can point Fusion to that location, maybe using the Path Map settings in the Preferences.
System specs:
Resolve Studio version: 16.1.0.055
Fusion Studio version: 9.0.2
OS: CentOS 7
CPU: Intel i7-4790k 4GHz Quad-Core
RAM: 32GB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 1080 Ti 11GB

Can someone from Blackmagic please tell me how can I point Fusion to the location of the Python installation, or at least where Python should be installed for Fusion to be able to see it?
