Displace3D now listing my camera?

PostSun Jul 23, 2017 4:48 am

When I open the displace3D tool, while everything is connected, and open the camera list it doesn't show any camera except "default" which isn't the camera I'm using.

How come it isn't listing my camera as an option to choose from?

That depends on how your camera is connected to your 3D world. Can you post a screenshot or copy/paste your flow inbetween the

'code' formatting this forum offers? This will allow us to help you better.

Most of the time, this comes from having the Camera wired into the flow below the Displace3D node. Data (usually) only goes downstream, so the Camera needs to be in the tree above the Displace3D in order for it to appear in the list.

Here is a screenshot of the Nodes, I circled the camera, final merger where everything connects to the camera/renderer, and at the top are the 2D trees that I'm trying to get to face the camera at all times. The red lines show where the connections are going, and I crossed out everything not important. I'm aware there's no Displace3D tool in there at the moment.

How should I be connecting the tree nodes to the Displace3D/merger/camera to allow the camera to appear in the Displace3D tool?

Open the image in a new tab to be able to read the nodes.

I attempted to copy and paste the code for all relevant nodes for the comp in a separate thread, but it consists of 1,000,000+ characters and the maximum allowed is 60,000.

I don't see any Displace3D in your image, only Duplicate3D.

Once I'm aware of a solution on how to get my desired result I will be adding the displace3D tool and attempting it again.
