Scripts not wokring?

PostMon Jul 24, 2017 6:59 am

Hi,
I'm new to the party.
I'm trying to get the cryptomatte plugin, and hos_SplitEXR to work.

They show up after copying them to the \Roaming\Blackmagic Design\Fusion\Scripts\Tool folder.
But if I klick them in fusion nothing happens.
What am I doing wrong?

I'm using Fusion 8.2.1 (free) and Windows 7

I managed to get them installed properly (I think).
I ran into another Problem. But I think I have a better place to ask for support on this.
Nevertheless thank you

What is the other problem you are running into, because I had an issue earlier with getting hos_EXRsplitter. Let me know and I might be able to help.

Hi, the split exer script works I had to create a folder
‘C:\Users\YOUR_USER\ScriptPrefs\’

The other problem is related to the cryptomatte.
Here is my post about my problem on We suck less:

Hi,
I'm trying to get this to work with a v-ray render.
But the cryptomatte node only has one input and throws an error:

Code: Select all
... Files\Blackmagic Design\Fusion 8\Fuses\cryptomatte.fuse:679: attempt to index a nil value
stack traceback:
   ... Files\Blackmagic Design\Fusion 8\Fuses\cryptomatte.fuse:679: in function 'extract_cryptomatte_metadata'
   ... Files\Blackmagic Design\Fusion 8\Fuses\cryptomatte.fuse:796: in function <... Files\Blackmagic Design\Fusion 8\Fuses\cryptomatte.fuse:770>
Cryptomatte1 failed at time 0

What's wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Ihno. That was my problem with split exr one, and this is the same solution I have followed to fix it.

I am not sure about the other one though. Hope someone here or on We Suck Less can help.
