Scaling Algorithm?

PostSun Aug 06, 2017 5:28 pm

Are there any plugins that will allow you to scale 1080p to 4K? Or are there any scripts or algorithms that will allow you to do this? After watching Steve Yedlin's scaling comparison,http://yedlin.net/ResDemo/#, several times. I began to wonder how would this work in Fusion or Davinci Reslove. I understood Steve was working in Nuke, a program I am not too familiar with. And seeing that Fusion is a similar program I am really hoping that there is a way of doing this with this program.

You can't select a scaling algorithm in Resolve but Fusion has a number of scaling algorithms that you can choose from. So, yes you can replicate what you see in the video you posted within Fusion.
Windows 10 x64 • Threadripper 1950x • 64GB RAM • RTX 4090 24GB • Latest Nvidia drivers
Fusioneer since Fu4.0 • Resolver since v9
